Throughout their time in the International Diplomacy program, the INTL students work with their Security Councils. The Security Council simulation allows the students to experience what it would be like to work on something such as the United Nations Security Council. This afternoon, the students made their opening speeches on behalf of the country they represent, making their case on the topic their council has been assigned to discuss. Over the next few days, the council will debate, discuss, and research in order to draft and pass resolutions in an attempt to alleviate the issues they are covering.
