Today, the Law & Advocacy students got to meet with Michael Perloff, a staff member of ACLU of DC. He was able to speak with the students about unlawful stop and frisks and the statistics behind racial inequality and inequity when it comes to law enforcement. He focused on the impact that a racial bias in law enforcement has on local communities.
